IWTO has welcomed more than 100 Young Professionals since the programme’s inception in 2012.
Open to those who are working in the industry aged 35 years and younger, the Young Professionals Programme provides the rare opportunity to gain an insider’s view of the global industry. The programme runs along with the annual Congress. We match each Young Professional with a senior member of the wool textile trade for the duration of the event, and offer special networking and social opportunities designed for junior members of the industry.
The programme is on hold until we can again have in-person events, but for the first time we’ll have a dedicated Young Professionals session during the 2021 Congress led by Core Merino’s Monica Ebert, herself a former YP.
Applications for 2022 will open toward the end of 2021.
